Knowledge for the North

Northwestern College is being developed as a digital knowledge hub for rural, remote, coastal, and northern communities.

Inspired by Northwestern British Columbia, this project is designed to organize practical resources for people living, working, studying, building, and travelling in remote regions — from the Skeena Valley and Prince Rupert to Haida Gwaii and the northern highway corridors.

The goal is to create a “college without walls”: a place for practical learning, regional guides, rural education, remote work resources, northern living skills, Indigenous cultural learning links, community enterprise tools, and place-based knowledge.

This site is currently in early development. A full platform is being prepared.

Key Destinations & Hubs
